About Wilds Hosting
- Location
- “ Wilds Hosting is located in the town of Marion, N.C. Nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina we have been providing hosting locally and globally for many years. “
- Since 1999
- “ We began hosting back in 1999 after experiencing multiple overpriced and not so great hosting companies over the years prior. Originally we hosted under the name WildUnows Hosting. That later became Wild Dial Internet Services as we expanded our offerings. Now Wilds Hosting is a subsidiary of Wild Dial NC and still going strong. “
- Why Use Us?
- “ We are a small hosting company, we don't have thousands of websites or customers. We would rather offer top notch service and support for our loyal dedicated customers than try to get rich overselling to the masses. We speak english, southern style. You'll never talk to anyone here that you can't understand. “
- Track Record
- “ We aren't bragging, well maybe we are, Since we have been in business we can count on our fingers how many customers have left us. Better still, we can count on one hand the ones that left for a different host. Most of the customers that have canceled their service simply closed their websites for whatever reason. We think it's a pretty darn good record. “
- Server Uptime
- “ We maintain a 99.9% uptime. That does not mean we are never down. Remember that a server is a computer. Computers need maintenance and must be routinely updated. Occasionally network providers fail causing the server to lose connectivity to the internet until the issue is repaired. If you have ever experienced your isp having problems and you can't get on the internet, basically the same thing. We are always on top of any issues we may have but sometimes our hands are tied. They won't let us fix everything on the internet :o) “
- What Will You Host
- “ We host a lot of different type sites. We won't host any adult or porn type sites. There are plenty of hosts out there for that, it's our personal choice not to. Most any other site is fine as long as it doesn't become a bandwidth hog. A file sharing site is good example of a bandwidth hogging site. When you get a lot of people downloading files it uses up the bandwidth which affects other customers, that's a no no. We host everything from personal family websites to commercial business sites to internet radio sites. “
